Boudika was created by Kelly Karasek who wanted to start a business that had both meaning as well as a social purpose. In early 2017, action was taken and the mission of Boudika was born. By creating a community that supports and embraces females of all ages, women and young girls are empowered to share their stories with each other. To learn, to grow, and to utilize the resources in each other.
A percentage of profit of each Boudika product sold is donated to helping women and young girls move forward in their passions and careers. Boudika’s vision is to partner with non-profit organizations and provide life coaching events to the young females of today. Where possible, Boudika partners with manufacturers and small businesses that are female owned and operated.
Boudika’s mission of celebrating women that support others and who are positive role models for our future female leaders is strongly represented in the brand itself. The inspiration of the name comes from the Celtic Iceni Queen Boudicca. She was a heroic figure in our history and stood up for what she believed in. Her story lives on not only in the 6 attributes of who a Boudika female is but in the products and marketing of the brand. May you feel as empowered as she did when wearing or using the products.
The Boudika logo represents: FAMILY. Queen Boudicca symbolizes the center circle along with her two daughters on the outer circles. The female symbol was also an inspiration for the design.
